Nerdy Birdy Tweets

“Nerdy Birdy Tweets”, a book written by Aaron Reynolds, and illustrated by Matt Davies, is the book we read for our PB Blogs today.

The book “Nerdy Birdy Tweets” starts off by telling you that a Vulture and Nerdy Birdy were very different, but were still best friends. They loved to take funny photos, make fun of each others lunches, and make silly faces. But one day, Nerdy Birdy found out about tweetster. So vulture would keep asking him to play, but the would just post and gain friends on tweetster. When Nerdy Birdy got 500 friends, Vulture ran away. The next day, Vulture came to Nerdy Birdy with tweetster, but noticed that nerdy birdy posted about him eating like a monster, so Vulture ran away. Nerdy Birdy asked his 500 tweetster friends, but they don’t help. So he goes to many places, finds vulture, and makes up to him, but they still use tweetster, the only difference is that now they use it together. I rate this book a 8/10 and for 8-10 year olds because it teaches people that social media friends dont matter as much as actual friends. Overall, I really liked this PB Blog.

What Do You Do With An Idea?

“What Do You Do With An Idea”, written by Kobi Yamada and illustrated by Mae Besom is the book we read for our PB Blog today.

The book “What Do You Do With An Idea” starts of by telling you that there was once a boy with an idea (the idea was represented as an egg with a crown). At first, the boy wanted to run away from the idea, thinking that it was silly and crazy, but the idea followed him. So the boy took care of the idea, and it grew bigger. The boy wanted to share his idea with others, but people said it was never going to work, and he almost believed them, but then he thought “what do they know about my idea” so he gave it a home and they were best friends. But one day, the egg grew so big, that it burst in the sky. The boy felt weird though, as he felt that it was now everywhere. I really liked this book and will give it a 9/10, and recommend it for 6-10 year olds, because it’s a great book for kids and teaches great lesson.

Overall, I really liked this book and think it was a great book for PB Blog.
